We make this grilled peach panzanella once a week during the summer (adding heirloom tomatoes) to celebrate our deep love of the all-too-short stone fruit season.
I am also born for corn but I came across a few disappointing ears last week. So I morphed them into a street corn type salad which I piled onto a tostada shell. Topped it off with some honey chipotle slaw and crumbled feta. Outstanding !!
Street Corn! The best part of living in South TX. Least I forget--Corn in a Cup, also something I never saw growing up in Central IL, decades and decades ago...might be prevalent now. 🤷🏼♀️
It is TX MEX street food. It's been decade since I've been to Mexico so I can't remember if I have it there or not. I also don't know if it available anywhere along the southwest of borders with Mexico. I just know you can find it almost anywhere here in South Texas.
Gorgeous post! I got one of my baking goals accomplished - made a Kouign-amann cake. A lot of work, but my god, it was so good. That bread you made looks amazing and I am going to also make zee french butter to go with it!. Thank you for all the good ideas - I am definitely closing out my summer with some good grilled corn!. Love you and Ronnie and thank you both for making my day brighter.
I just made the Vietnamese coffee ice cream. I used 1 1/4 cups sweetened condensed milk and 3/4 cup half-and-half, rather than the 1 1/2 cups sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup half-and-half called for in the recipe and it wasn't too sweet. I used espresso for the coffee
Mouth watered at your mussels recipe. You are right tho...why don’t we use orzo more instead of dippy bread 🤔. I was craving Shashuka after watching this weeks RHONY so if anyone else thought it looked good too, here is nyt recipe by Melissa Clarks link https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1014721-shakshuka-with-feta?smid=ck-recipe-iOS-share. Ordered Ubas hot sauce too on Amazon UBAH HOT Hot Sauce (Collection Variety 3 Pack) https://a.co/d/d2WAEB8. Hope it’s ok to post. Love all of your recipes and course WWC daily. Excited for your new Take a Seat podcast too! Or “Sit your ass down!” whatever the fans voted for. Love you and Ronnie! Thank you for making life fun for an old 62 yr old in Cali

How did it turn out?
Perfect! My kids thought it was too adult-flavored, so more for me.
I ordered the Mellissa Clark book after seeing the photo and reading about the sheet pan dish. Her two instant pot books are big hits in my house.
Next time you make the sardines & rice dish, put out a small saucer of white vinegar nearby. It will absorb a lot of the fishy odor.
Can’t wait to try the beets! Curious what ice cream maker you use? Desperately need one.
This is the one! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N63J432?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Thank you!
Inspired. Everything looks and sounds fantastic.
